Meat Cutter Apprenticeship
Our Meat Apprenticeship Program, a state-sponsored joint initiative between UFCW367 and employers, offers a comprehensive training experience. Participants engage in 288 hours of Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) and 4000 hours of on-the-job training, spanning
approximately two years in 10-week sessions.
As a registered apprenticeship program in partnership with Bates Technical College, participants have the opportunity to earn a Journey-person meat cutter's card and may also apply credits toward further educational pursuits.
