Meat Cutter Apprenticeship
Our Meat Cutter Apprenticeship Program, a collaborative, state-sponsored partnership between UFCW Local 367 and employers, provides aspiring meat cutters with a robust and thorough training experience. Through 288 hours of Related Supplemental Instruction (RSI) and 4,000 hours of hands-on, on-the-job training, participants gain essential skills over an approximately two-year period, delivered in structured 10-week sessions.
This registered apprenticeship program, offered in partnership with Bates Technical College, allows participants to earn their Journey-Person Meat Cutter’s Card. Additionally, apprentices can apply their earned credits toward further educational opportunities, opening doors to future career growth.
